MALACCA PORTUGUESE COINS - DINHEIRO (I S M A)

This coin was minted in Malacca during the reign of King Dom Joao III (1521-1557). Within the cross compartments on obverse formed the letters "I S M A" which means I (Ioanes), S (Senhor) and MA for Malacca......meaning, "IT WAS MADE IN MALACCA!"...hehe..but at least they still mentioned Malacca...not a counterfeit from China!

On reverse, armillary sphere..I guessed.

The coin weight varies from 3.80 grammes to 3.90 grammes, diameter 16mm and composition is "tin".

Sapa-sapa yang masih belum ada coin ni...macam biasa, saya ada lebih..boleh contact saya untuk berurusan yek!
